Candace & Tyler- A Formal Friday Wedding in Downtown Indianapolis

When we talked with Candace and Tyler, we were so excited for their wedding plans! From their Tiffany wedding bands to their castle-like reception space, there were so many classic pieces that we were sure their celebration would be a night to remember!

As with every wedding, there were lots of elements that we loved, but one thing that stuck with us was Candace’s gown. Candace said they would definitely need to book transportation if for no other reason that she wasn’t sure her gown would fit in a regular vehicle! When we arrived at their getting ready suite in Bottleworks Indy, we saw exactly what Candace meant; her gown was a showstopper.

From there, the day flowed without a major hitch! One wonderful thing about Friday weddings is that they are usually much later in the day, giving the bridal party lots of time to relax and get ready for the celebration. Throughout the day, we weren’t rushed as well helped the florist put some finishing touches on the reception space, coordinated the wedding mass at the beautiful Holy Rosary church, and kept the day as running smoothly!

The wedding reception was a late night formal dinner in the venue’s south lounge. Tones of purple we were a perfect match for the dark wood and gold accents of the lounge. Another element from this wedding that we are sure to remember was their gorgeous tiered cake from Cake Bake! Cake Bake is a restaurant & bakery famous for their effervescent decor, glitter adorned food, and mouthwatering, decadent cakes, and this three layer cake did not disappoint! The day closed out at midnight with a glow stick exit on the steps of the venue.
