This wedding was a special one for us because we were back at the church where it all started! We first cooked up the idea for Simply Sacred Events in the pews of Sacred Heart of Jesus in Indianapolis. In fact, our business name is in part a tribute to this gorgeous church. So when Jenn and Nate selected Sacred Heart and the Conservatory at Evergreen for their event, our favorite church plus a gorgeous new Indianapolis venue, we were beyond excited!

They chose a modern yet classic aesthetic for the day as a whole which they excited with green and white florals and lots of black accents. Their getting ready space, Charlotte Hall, in the fountain square district of Indy, was renovated and featured in HGTV and it was such a great canvas for getting ready pictures.

We headed to church with abundant sunshine and some truly joyful energy!

Post wedding, Jenn and Nate headed to the Indianapolis war memorial for some gorgeous glowing portraits together.

As excited as we were to be back at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Indianapolis, we were almost as excited to do our first wedding at the Conservatory at Evergreen! This wedding venue is on the newer side for Indianapolis, and it’s beautiful! It’s set in the woods near Eagle Creek and made in a greenhouse/pavilion style so that your event can be surrounded by the trees all evening. One of the most beautiful parts of the day was once dark had fallen, the candlelight that emanated from the building was almost ethereal.

Jenn and Nate’s wedding was one we’ll always remember as a perfect and lush late summer wedding! As always, it was a true honor to be a part of this couple’s day.
